Colorado Tech Leaders Launch Foundation

BOULDER, CO -- A group of entrepreneurs has announced the launch of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Colorado, a non-profit community support organization.

The foundation is designed to be funded by startups and individuals with a portion of their stock, so that when successful, the foundation is funded with proceeds from the sale of stock.

Five companies are the founding backers: Collective Intellect, Me.dium, NewsGator Technologies, Rally Software and Tendril.  The foundation also includes venture capitalists, attorneys and other organizations.

The foundation is a chapter of the nationwide Entrepreneurs Foundation.
